Self-taught in California
Experience the journey of a passionate photographer who transformed his life through the lens of an Argus 35mm camera. In the early '70s, while stationed in the stark beauty of the California Mohave Desert, it was here I discovered my love for capturing landscapes. The awe-inspiring Sierra Nevada Mountains provided a breathtaking backdrop that ignited my creative spirit.
As I transitioned from military life, my fascination with both landscape photography and the natural world only deepened. Armed with a natural science degree, I found myself continually envisioning stunning photographic opportunities as I traveled countless miles in my sales career.
It was a fateful conversation with Denali that solidified my path. On Friday, October 13, 2006, I made the bold decision to bring my vision to life and become a full-time landscape photographer.
