While driving into Hartman Creek State Park, Waupaca, Wisconsin, my attention was instantly drawn to the brightly colorful tamaracks lining the shoreline of Mid Lake.
Against the contrast of the backdrop of otherwise bare trees, these tamaracks simply filled the area with delight.
The filtered sunlight through the overcast sky, created subtle shadows with the trees, further enhancing their color.
On this October day, it felt as if I had stumbled upon a treasure of "Autumn Gold".
